Delete account

This page explains how you can request deletion of your GameSearch account and associated data, what we remove, and what may be kept for a limited time where the law or security requires it.

How to delete your account

You can delete your account in the app:

  1. Open the app on your device and sign in if you use an account.
  2. Go to your profile or Settings from the main navigation.
  3. Select Delete account (or equivalent wording in your language).
  4. Confirm deletion when prompted. The account is removed after confirmation.

Data deletion

When your account is deleted, we remove account-level data, including:

  • Email address on the account
  • User profile information
  • Authentication data for that account

Data retention

Some information may be deleted later, anonymized, or kept for a limited period where required for legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, or dispute resolution. For example, comments and related content may be deleted or anonymized so they are no longer tied to you.

Operational or technical records (such as server logs) may be retained only as long as necessary and in line with applicable law.
